Today, we’re excited to announce that we recently signed a global, non-exclusive agreement with Google to display ads on various Yahoo! properties and certain co-branded sites using Google’s AdSense for Content and Google’s AdMob services.
These Google partnered ads will appear on Yahoo’s sites for finance, news, sports and autos. Google is well-established in this ad-serving business, with Adsense alone contributing to 28% of Google’s Annual revenue in 2011. Ultimately Yahoo!’s CEO, Marissa Meyer has paved a new way of relationship with her former employer.
